Who we are

GCC is a non-profit organisation with the mission ‘to provide young people with the opportunity to develop to their highest potential’. In the last decade, we have increased our focus to providing solutions to the problems that the Boko Haram insurgency in the north-eastern part of Nigeria gave rise to.

We entered into a partnership with the King Muhammad VI Foundation of Morocco to establish and construct a vocational training institute in Maiduguri, Borno State which will thereafter be managed by GCC. The aim is to assist the re-integration of internally displaced youth back into the society as well as provide the skilled manpower needed to rebuild the various sectors and areas destroyed by the insurgency in and around Borno state.

Dr Mairo Usman Mandara, An Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Public Health Physician with extensive knowledge and experience in strategic planning and implementation of health and social transformation initiatives has worked with local and international stakeholders, including high-level government officials, traditional and religious leaders, women's groups, and civil societies across Africa
Mohammed VI was the second child and oldest son of Hassan II and his secondary wife, Lalla Latifa Hammou.[10] On the day of his birth, Mohammed was appointed Heir Apparent and Crown Prince.[citation needed] His father was keen on giving him a religious and political education from an early age; at the age of four, he started attending the Quranic school at the Royal Palace
